SatiVite is a new face on the medicinal cannabis scene. The brand took root in 2021 as the brainchild of three medicinal cannabis pioneers – hailing from the corporate, medical, and agricultural sides of the industry. The original trio, two of them patients themselves, had the drive to get going and the experience to go the distance.

Our patient-led approach gives us a unique perspective on medicine. We want our patients to feel in charge of their own treatment, because we’ve seen how a sense of autonomy can strengthen a patient’s mentality. Our founder, Mike Cleary, discovered this first-hand after he fractured 168 of his bones in a motorcycle accident in 2012. Needless to say, he was in pain.
A lot of it.

After several procedures and a long stay in the hospital, Mike was put on a host of pharmaceutical medications: some painkillers, some anti-inflammatories, and some to counteract the side effects of the others. They helped his pain for a while, but being on a surplus of prescription drugs made Mike feel like (in his words) a human pin-cushion...

When he tried medicinal cannabis for his chronic condition, Mike felt a change. He was lucky to be a strong responder to the medication, and he discovered that it gave him room to manage his treatment as he saw fit (with input from his doctor, of course). As a patient, he found that hugely empowering – so much so that ‘patients treating patients’ has become our unofficial tagline.

The only difference is we’re patients who know what we’re talking about. Today, SatiVite is a medicinal cannabis company with clear priorities: high-quality products, personalised support, and patient-led product development.

Our leadership team has grown since 2021, with each team member bringing a fresh perspective. We can’t claim to be Australia’s largest medicinal cannabis supplier, but we’ve never been interested in growth for its own sake. We need SatiVite to be profitable insofar as it helps us stick around – delivering premium medicinal cannabis products for as long as we can.

Put simply, we’re here for a good time and a longtime. We want a slow, steady burn, not a big flame that burns out bright.
